History: Mails me a High Point 45acp pistol to do a transfer. I don't
recognize the name of the local customer and I did not know it was
coming. No phone number is included. I call the above dealer to get the
phone number of the customer so I can tell them their gun is in.
ABC informs me they don't have the phone number. They tell me they
ship over 100 guns a week and it is up to me to get it to the person who
ordered. ??? OK
that's a first. 9 July 2008: ABC calls and said the deal fell through
and they want me to send the High Point back to them and they would pay
the shipping.
My response: Mail me a money order for $50 and I'll be more than glad
to get it out of my safe and back to you.
Resolution: He mailed the $50 and I sent the pistol back. |
