Citori. A perfect blend of beauty and performance.
The Citori is more than a shotgun, it is the quintessential representative of the quality of the Browning brand. Wood-to-metal fit is paramount on the Citori and with tight, consistent junctions it doesn’t disappoint. Action components are machined to exacting tolerances, heat-treated for greater strength and fitted using the traditional lampblack-and-file method to ensure the precise fit of critical components prior to being assembled to the action. It is this extreme level of craftsmanship that leads to the dependable function, impeccable looks, championship performance and respect from both Citori owners and the competition alike. We challenge you to take any Citori from the rack and you’ll see the same high level of fit and finish on every gun. Open and close the action and throw it to your shoulder. Sight down the barrels. Only then will you fully understand why the Citori has gained its reputation as the finest over and under shotgun available in the world. 2007 is another exciting year for the Citori, with several new model additions that are sure to keep this lineup of regal shotguns at the front of the pack.

Citori 525 feather. Light as a feather.
The 525 Series is one of the best selling Citori lines ever. With this high level of success some gun companies would just sit back and keep selling the same basic product. Not Browning. The new Feather 525 field guns couple the popular 525 Field with our popular Feather Technology to make a shotgun already regarded as the best looking and handling even lighter and faster than ever before. Feather Technology replaces the steel receiver with an ultra lightweight alloy model that provides more than a full pound of weight reduction. Of course, lighter weight doesn’t mean light duty. Even with the alloy receiver, the strength and longevity of your Citori 525 Feather are not compromised. The Feather shotguns rely on a solid steel dovetailed breech face and steel hinge pin, both areas of high wear on an over and under, to take the brunt of the forces that act on these critical components. With their reduced mass, 12 gauge 525 Feather models weigh about the same as a 20 gauge Citori, but with the advantages of faster handling and pointing, and a larger shot payload. This weight reduction also means a Citori 525 Feather is much easier to carry during a long day in the field. Shoulder a new Citori 525 Feather and understand for yourself how a little less can actually be so much more.

Citori Lightning. Lightning Strikes.
From the moment the first Browning Superposed over and under shotguns came off the assembly line in Herstal, Belgium, they had a timeless look and feel that made them destined for greatness. As the last design project undertaken by the man himself, John M. Browning, the Superposed was ultimately completed after his death and remained a stalwart in the Browning line for over 40 years until a suitable replacement was developed. That gun is the Citori, now the number one over and under shotgun on the market. The Citori Lightning models you see on these pages feature the same timeless styling the Superposed made so popular, with traditional receiver engraving patterns and sleek stock and forearm designs. These fine field guns feature fast, balanced handling and virtually indestructible inner workings for generations of performance shooting. The Citori Feather models feature a lightweight alloy receiver that shaves weight with zero loss in durability thanks to the integration of a steel breech face and steel hinge pin. Pick up a Lightning today and discover for yourself why the Citori remains number one in the hearts of millions of discerning shotgunners around the globe.

Citori GTS. Game? Targets? Get the best of both worlds with the GTS.
One shotgun can do it all, as long as that shotgun is a new Browning Citori GTS. The GTS combines all the best features of Citori field and target models to produce a unique hybrid over and under designed to bring down birds and smash targets with equal zeal. The 3" chambers accommodate a wide variety of loads to tackle everything from heavy geese to round after round of sporting clays. The 10mm rib is wide enough to easily pick up clay targets but not distract from fast moving game in the field. Fine walnut stocks feature a pistol grip for optimum finger to trigger placement, and the addition of the Triple Trigger System™ further dials in this critical measurement. Back-Bored Barrel Technology reduces felt recoil for extra comfort, provides consistent patterns and works in harmony with a full complement of five Invector-Plus™ chokes to ensure the right pattern for any situation. Of course, these GTS models are still Brownings to the core, with tight wood-to-metal fit, precisely machined action components that are heat-treated for greater strength and then precisely fitted using the old world lampblack-and-file method. A hand-rubbed oil finish gives the GTS a sleek, low luster finish that perfectly frames this high level of craftsmanship. One gun for all seasons and reasons? It’s no problem for a Browning GTS.

Citori Sporting. Just what you’re looking for.
The clay target shooting sports continue to gain popularity at a blistering pace, and there is definitely a Citori designed especially to meet the needs of your specific game. We offer a terrific selection of sporting shotguns tailored to meet the unique challenges that trap, skeet and sporting clays places on both you and your shotgun. You and your scorecard will certainly appreciate exclusive Browning features like the Triple Trigger™ System, an optional cast and drop adjustable comb that lets you dial-in your custom settings with just the turn of a single screw, and the natural balance, fast handling and pointability lauded by generations of Browning shotgun owners. Whichever gun you choose, every target model is built around the proven, reliable Citori action and is destined to provide you with years and years of use and enjoyment.

Citori Grand Prix Sporter. The ultimate over and under in innovation, versatility and performance.
Don’t be fooled by its conventional looks. The new Citori Grand Prix Sporter is one seriously advanced over and under. Browning’s exclusive Selective Ejection System allows you to quickly and easily convert from ejection mode to extraction mode. This lets you choose whether fired hulls eject clear of the chambers when the action is opened, or hulls simply elevate for easy removal by hand. This system is activated in a matter of seconds simply by removing the forearm and sliding a lever. In addition to this exciting new feature, there is plenty more to rave about with the Grand Prix Sporter. Lightweight barrels swing smooth and fast, and utilize Browning’s Back-Bored Technology to ensure dense, even and consistent shot patterns. Five Midas™ Grade choke tubes are included to ensure those patterns are just what you need for the situation at hand. The straight comb walnut stock helps create the rapid target acquisition that makes the Citori a sought after addition to every gun collection. A modern receiver engraving pattern includes gold enhancements befitting a gun of this magnitude. Take a Citori Grand Prix Sporter for a test drive today.

Citori XT. Experience the XT-ravaganza!
A Citori XT Trap is truly a purist’s over and under trap shotgun with features designed to help you improve on your personal best. The ultra-reliable Citori action serves as the foundation for these two fine guns, with inner workings capable of devouring many thousands of trouble-free practice and competition rounds. A rich gloss on fine walnut highlights the silver nitride receiver finish. A wide high-post rib allows for excellent visibility and enhances rapid target acquisition. The barrels are ported for comfortable shooting. Back-Bored Technology and the interchangeable Invector-Plus™ choke tube system provide optimal shot patterns that are easily optimized for your target situation. Whether it’s the full race, clay crushing XT Trap Gold with fully adjustable GraCoil system and gold enhanced engraving or a more standard model — with or without the optional adjustable comb, you just can’t miss with a Citori XT Trap.

Hammers and Hammer Ejectors
Hammers are powered by powerful coil-type mainsprings for positive primer ignition. The convenient barrel selector allows the shooter to choose which barrel fires on the first pull of the single trigger, and the second pull fires the remaining barrel. Ejectors are activated by a sharp hammer blow for more positive ejection than the push imparted by competitors’ ejectors. The automatic ejectors eject fired shells when the breech is opened and elevate unfired shells for easy removal.

Locking Bolt and Hinge Pin
The Citori utilizes a transverse-mounted, full-width tapered locking bolt. The tapered locking bolt engages a full-width tapered recess in the rear barrel lugs. The taper allows the bolt to seat deeper over the years. The hinge pin extends from one side of the receiver to the other for maximum strength. It’s the reason people say a Citori wears in, not out.

Chrome Chambers
All Citori shotguns feature chrome-plated chambers that resist the toll thousands of shells can take on lesser quality guns. Corrosion resistance is also greatly improved.

Triple Trigger System
All Sporting Clays, XT and XS Series Citori shotguns come equipped with the Triple Trigger™ system, which allows the shooter to fine tune the length of pull and switch between a wide checkered, a narrow smooth and a wide smooth canted trigger shoe.

Back-Bored Barrels
12 and 20 gauge Citori shotguns feature Back-Bored Technology.

Choke Tubes
12 and 20 gauge Citori shotguns include the interchangeable Invector-Plus™ choke tube system. 28 gauge and .410 bore Citori shotguns include the Standard Invector™ system.
