Hammer Fold-down style with two positions at half cock.

Action Lever action with rotating head, multiple-lug breech bolt with recessed bolt face. Side ejection.

Receiver Machined aircraft-grade aluminum. Drilled and tapped to accept scope mounts.

Sights Low profile, square notch, screw adjustable rear sight. Gold bead on raised ramp front sight.

Barrel Individually machined from hammer-forged, heat-treated chromemoly steel. Crowned muzzle.

Trigger Wide groove design trigger with short, smooth pull of approximately 4 1/2 lbs. Trigger travels with lever.

Stock and Forearm American walnut, straight '81-style stock and classic round forearm. High-gloss finish. Checkered.

Magazine Flush mounted, detachable. Capacity: Four magnum/five standard rounds in magazine, one in chamber.

Safety Lock All Browning firearms are shipped with a free trigger lock, cable lock, padlock (shown) or chamber lock, depending on model, to assist in the safe storage of firearms.
