Apr 2004 Most Steyr rifles are no longer available. If you see one you
like you need to buy it ASAP! Once the new importer issue is worked out we
will post it here. I'm pretty sure there will be a significant increase in
prices. 8
Oct 2003 Unfortunately the US importer of Steyr rifles is no
longer going to stock the Mannlicher in half-stock or full-stock. What does this mean to you? From
here on out it will be very difficult if not impossible to get these rifles. If you want
one, you need to buy it ASAP. The rifles will be sent to the US based upon
distributors ordering and then waiting for them to get shipped. I
have talked to distributors that have been waiting for months for their
orders. I have gone out to the importer and distributors to see what is available and I have annotated which rifles,
as of today (8 Oct 2003), are available. Currently the ProHunter Line is unaffected
and availability is good. The Scout including the Jeff Cooper
Package (now only available in 223 unless you have us "build"
one), the SSG, and the Tactical Elite will continue to be imported but
availability continues to be poor. Amy |
