WEATHERBY SUPER SPORTING CLAYS (SSC)

For serious clays competitors, we proudly offer our Super Sporting Clays (SSC) shotgun. The SSC features a satin oil-finished stock with a target-style pistol grip and a Schnaubel forend. A longer buttstock allows the stock to be cut to fit your exact length of pull requirements. The shallow receiver helps align hands for improved balance and pointability, aided by a wider 12mm competition grooved rib with mid-bead and side vents. The barrels are ported to reduce muzzle jump. A Pachmayr® Decelerator® sporting clays recoil pad reduces felt recoil, as well as drag during mounting.

Weatherby Over/Under shotguns feature an interchangeable, screw-in Multi-Choke System by Briley® to allow you to tailor your shot pattern for specific needs. Weatherby chokes are crafted from stainless steel. Certified for steel shot through modified choke constrictions.

SSC Stock is cast off from top to bottom of the butt (3 to 6 millimeters) to provide a better fit against the shoulder and improved balance and feel. Trigger is fully adjustable for length of pull to accommodate different finger lengths.
